    Judy, a resident of Bucks County, is inspired by the beauty of its landscapes and historic landmarks. Working exclusively in watercolor, she captures mood through her treatment of light. Her careful observation of sunlight and perspective create dramatic works that radiate warmth. Given the fine detail rendered in each scene coupled with the changing effects of sunlight, her work can can be considered a combination of realism and impressionism.

     Her watercolors have been displayed in various juried shows including the annual Phillips Mill Show, and the Trenton Art Museum Ellarsie Open.
     In addition to private and public collections, LaTorre's work has appeared in calendars, area guide books and newspapers.
     The artist was born and raised in Windber,Pa. where her creative nature first developed. She received a B.S. Degree in Medical Technology from St. Francis College in Loretto,Pa.   Today she lives in Newtown,Pa. with her husband and two children.
